Heading home from work, I get on the bus, and notice an off odor. The bus driver waits until we’ve all boarded, then gets off the bus, walks around it, and then comes back and starts buckling in. One of the other patrons is like “Are we leaving now?” and the driver’s like “Yeah, I just had to check and make sure we weren’t on fire.” and starts to pull off without another word. other patron “Um, so… what’s the verdict?” Driver: “We’re good.” Me: “I love the Phoenix bus system…”
